Vetyverio/Vetiver Eau de Parfum

I cannot recommend Diptyque Vetyverio Eau de Parfum enough! From the moment I tried it, I was captivated by its alluring scent. This fragrance is a true masterpiece that effortlessly combines sophistication and elegance. I have been wearing vetyverio for the past 5 years, its the perfect scent for any occasion, so fresh and woody with feminine floral notes that aren't too much. My mum and grandmother, and two friends (one male one female) have also now bought the scent after loving it on me - a great all rounder with a perfect balance between masculine and feminine!

I have work this perfume for years and my mum admired it every time I wore it. Now we both match as she loved it so much! I prefer the EDT as it’s fresher and lighter and I find it’s long lasting on my skin. Mum has the EDP so a slight difference as it is stronger and less citrusy. Both are perfect and a good price point as perfume prices are getting higher and higher.

I think this is one of diptyque's unsung hero scents that doesn't get a lot of attention, which is a shame because it's a great scent. The opening is very fresh and citrusy. The vetyver is noticeable right from the start. The heart of the fragrance is floral with rose, geranium, and ylang ylang. I am not a fan of ylang ylang normally, but it works here. I pick up a lot on the geranium. It settles into a nice woody base with nutmeg, cedar, vetyver, and musk. The lasting power is surprisingly strong, it lasts on my skin for hours. It isn't too loud.
