What it is: A woody eau de parfum.

Fragrance story: During the '60s, a certain scent was changing the world: patchouli. It conveyed a sense of freedom and spirituality that was closer to nature, and the hopes of a generation that was reinventing the future. Tempo is a tribute to this olfactory icon. But it’s far from the harsh, humid undergrowth scent of yesteryear’s touchstone. This is a nuanced composition of three patchouli extracts from the Indonesian island of Sulawesi that hovers between elegant and woody, enveloping and earthy. Elevated by violet leaf, Tempo vibrates on the skin with remarkable sophistication.

Patchouli, sweet, clean and fresh

Beautiful Patchouli scent. More sophisticated with a hint of sweet. I was afraid it would be to masculine for me but the sweetness adds feminine feelings. It also has a fresh and clean scent. A very unique patchouli. I’m glad I purchased it. I was nervous but I really love it.

What patchouli? Wanted to love it!

I wanted to love this perfume as I was endeavoring to find a quality patchouli; this wasn't' that. To be fair it could be my chemistry but the scent of this perfume reminded me of a decent cardboard and even at that it didn't have any staying power which was probably a plus. When I first opened the bottle I was so excited but as soon as I sprayed my wrists I could tell this wasn't for me. I do indeed remember the scent of good heady patchouli growing up in the 60's and 70's but this didn't even remotely remind me of that.

oh my stars the price increase in a year wow

I bought this last year it was 159 for the 2.5oz now it is 205?! Wowzer. That is crazy high price increase. Yikes. 46dollars more expensive in one year.
