What it is: A woody, velvety fragrance with notes of sandalwood, cedar, cypress and myrtle.
Fragrance story: Inspired by a memory from the holy forests of Indochina, and the velvety, milky scent of sandalwood burned in temples. Yves Coueslant, one of Diptyque's founders, has never forgotten this fragrance from his childhood illustrated by sandalwood from Mysore cooled by vibrant cypress and myrtle. Diptyque draws its inspiration from the history of perfume by reinventing the textures of scent to offer a new approach to personal scenting, deemed Fragrance Gestures. It is a way to make the invisible sensual, and the ethereal tangible.

Pure luxury in a bottle
Tam Dao Eau de Parfum is such a beautiful, easy-to-wear scent. It’s warm, woody, and slightly creamy, with the sandalwood really stealing the show. It feels cosy and calm but still polished — the kind of fragrance that works just as well for everyday wear as it does for special moments. It lasts well on the skin without being too strong, and I love how it softens as the day goes on.

Don’t buy it from Nordstrom
Terrible customer service, bought EDP, received EDT and even that took them 10 days to deliver. Returned. This was my first and last online purchase with Nordstrom

the scent isn’t for me. it also did not last on skin but it did last a few hours if you spray on your clothes.

obsessed
Ever since I smelled this in store I've been obsessed with it!! so creamy and woody- perfect for the colder months. When I read the notes I was a bit intimidated by the ginger and lime but they blend in so well that you don't even notice it.
