Fragrance story: Baies, or Berries, brings to mind the tangy coolness of berries blending with the flowery accents of rose. Feu de Bois, or Wood Fire, captures the dense, smoky scent of wood crackling in the hearth. Figuier, or Fig Tree, captures the woody scent of the tree mingled with the green, delicately fruity accents of figs. Narguile evokes the warm and fruity scent of honey, tobacco leaves and a handful of spices. Roses illuminates the fresh and floral notes of rose bushes brimming with flowers.

Pro tips: The first time you burn your diptyque candle, allow it to burn for at least two hours until the whole top is liquid with wax to help your candle burn more evenly next time. Before lighting, trim the wick to 1/4-inch length, which will allow the candle to burn slowly and will help avoid unsightly black marks around the edge of the glass. After blowing out your candle, re-center and straighten the wick.

Small candles but powerful scent
I have been eyeing Diptyque candles for a long time but never pulled the trigger because of the cost + I wasn't sure which scents I liked. I decided to give this set a try and I am very happy with my purchase! The candles are tiny but I've burnt one for about 3 hours already in my office and you can barely tell, so I think I'll probably get a good 15-20 hrs from each. It works well in my fairly big office and the smell lingers for a while after I blow it out even with the door ajar. Don't be fooled by the small size of each, these little candles are awesome!

Bad scents
They truly don’t smell good. They remind me of really old people’s powder... nothing against old people’s powder but that very same scent/smell. Didn’t think they were going to smell this bad!

Good starter set
These are tiny candles, but great for trying out different fragrances. Great packaging too!

Makes a great gift except for sticky label
I buy these candles each year in the NAS to use as gifts. Yes, they are tiny, but they arehigh quality wax and the scents are interesting. Unfortunately, this year Nordstrom has put a large sticky paper label with its product number right over the brand name on the front of the box. The labels do not come off cleanly making the item unsuitable for gift-giving. Very disappointed.

Double wow!
Lovely set of travel sized candles. You can split these up and gift them (I'm thinking stocking stuffers!). But of course it's more fun to keep and use for yourself. Lol. The candles smell amazing and they look fabulous! I brought one to work (BAIES) and it smells wonderful!

I’ve always wanted to try Diptyque candles but the price tag gave me pause. This set has three of its bestsellers and I’m so glad I picked one up. I like Mimosa, Roses, and Figuier the best for summer, and I’m saving Baies and Feu de Bois for fall/winter.

great intro to Diptyque!
I have been wanting to try out Diptyque candles for a while. This special anniversary set is a perfect way to try them at a great price point. I received the 2020 edition (Baies, Roses, Fig, Feu de Bois, and Narguiles). The candles are small (think shot glass size) but still scent an entire room nicely. I highly recommend that after you remove the individual candle boxes from the special packaging that you separate them for at least a day before you judge their scents. I noticed that the fragrances seemed to mingle after being stored together for some time. When I initially smelled each candle, they all smelled somewhat similar and not quite right (but this is not permanent!). When allowed to sit independently, it clears up nicely and you’ll see that the candles smell much more individual. The candles smell nice just out of the box, but lighting them brings forth an even nicer scent (especially the Fig and Feu de Bois candles!) I love also that the packaging allows for the candles to be given individually as little gifts.
