Satin Oil Spray for Body and Hair

The smell is too over powering I had to get up in the middle of the night and wash my hair completely. Returned after 1st try I used very little and it is too over powering. The scent might be lovely depending on personal taste for me is too strong. I love and wear on a daily basis Jo Malone English Pear & Freesia, Wild Bluebell or Blackberry & Bay just to give you an Idea of what I like.

I purchased this based on previous reviews, most Of which were positive...I personally found this to be a heavier scented smell than others mentioned...I like Jo Malone perfumes such as Lime Basil, Orange Blossom and Grapefruit if that gives you an indication more of where my preferences are....I would not use this on my skin for that reason...it is just too overpowering and heavy for me...however, I did use this on the ends of my hair only after blow drying about half way through...depending on your hair type it might be too oily if it is sprayed on the roots....my husband loved the scent and given it did not conflict with any of my other products I decided to keep it...my son really thinks it's amazing too...all scents are personal, and given it has two votes from the most important people in my life and it has not given me a headache, I will continue to use...

I really love this satin oil for body and hair! It really made my skin soft and gave my hair amazing shine; which it needs all the time since I have thick, wavy, and super dry hair. BUT, I could not get past the scent. It was way too floral and not in a good way, in a cheap old lady perfume from the 70's! I had to take it back. If it had come in a more subtle and modern scent, I would have definitely kept it. But that doesn't mean that I don't love Diptyque's products, I'm actually a new fan of their brand! Just not this product.

I like this mixed with other fragrances. It smells like light vanilla and almond to me and mixes with other fragrances to make a beautiful scent. It can tone down a fragrance that is beautiful but too strong. It also makes other scents last longer on the skin. You can add your fragrance to it and make it as strong or weak as you like. So far, I like it with the Trente Quartre 34 and also the Bottega Veneta Eau Legere. Very silky on the skin.

I definitely would highly recommend this bath oil, it keeps my skin soft and not oily, and gives me a that soft rose scent its one I never want to run short of.

I'm a big fan of the entire line of fragrances by Dyptique. When the salesperson suggested this product after watching me pull out a lotion out of my purse, I decided to give it a try. Wow! This product has now replaced most of my hand lotion and I love it so much, I am now giving it as gifts! This moisturizing oil is very light and yet very emollient... it's changed the way I use body moisturizers. Great for dry hair, too!
