What it is: A scented candle housed in a clear-colored glass vessel that's a beautiful focal point for any room.

How to use: The first time you burn your diptyque candle, allow it to burn for at least two hours until the whole top is liquid with wax to help it burn more evenly next time. Before lighting, trim the wick to 1/4-inch length, which will allow the candle to burn slowly and will help avoid black marks around the edge of the glass. After blowing out the candle, recenter and straighten the wick.

Worth the price
Lovely candle that really fragrances a room. On the pricier side but definitely worth it as a gift to yourself or others. Lasts a long time too so really feels worth the expense. The rose isn’t too overwhelming and is a gentle scent that you get as soon as you open the box.

what am I doing wrong?
I bought this a few days a go and lit it for two hours as required. No perfume of roses while burning: all I could smell was paraffin, and as I love roses and grow many this was an olfactory affront. Hugely disappointed and reluctant to even try the Amber candle I bought at the same time. If this is a Diptyque candle, then it's highly overrated.

My fave
This is my all time favourite candle. It has such a lovely scent and really fills the room! I absolutely loved using this. Sweet but never too much - makes my home office smell beautiful and really cheers up my day. Another beautiful product and scent from Diptyque. Expensive but so worth it

Lovely but subtle
The scent is not as strong as I was expecting. It smells like a soft, warm, traditional rose. The scent projection is just enough for a smaller room. The candle is long lasting and burns evenly. The wax is very good quality. The jar is stunning and looks very classy.

ADORE IT!
I absolutely love my brand new roses scented candle. It was a brilliant birthday gift from a friend, and I will be definitely be giving it to others. It is expensive but it is definitely worth the money. It definitely brightens up my home! I would repurchase, and recommend to a friend. I absolutely love the Diptyque brand!!!!!

Candles like no other
Yes, they are expensive, but the fragrance from Diptique candles is amazing. I have one lit most of the time and they are a natural scent, not an overpowering headache inducing smell! Roses is definitely my favourite, but I like a lighter fragrance in spring. Washed out, the glasses make fabulous pen holders - so classy! X
