Out of all the Diptique scent I own, this is my favorite. It smells luxurious and spicy, and permeates the entire room -- perfect for winter.

What it is: A candle featuring the spicy scent of Pomander.
Fragrance story: A profusion of spices and candied peels with the delicious scents of winter. As the holidays near, oranges are pierced with scented cloves, filling the house with delicious spicy and fruity notes.
Style: Spicy.
How to use: The first time you burn your diptyque candle, allow it to burn for at least two hours until the whole top is liquid with wax to help your candle burn more evenly next time. Before lighting, trim the wick to 1/4-inch length, which will allow the candle to burn slowly and will help avoid unsightly black marks around the edge of the glass. After blowing out your candle, re-center and straighten the wick.

- 2.4 oz. has 20-hour approximate burn time; 6.5 oz. has 60-hour approximate burn time

I would NOT buy again
I bought the votive size in the Pomander. You have to be within inches of the lit candle to notice the very very faint scent. Maybe the larger sizes throw the scent better, but this size was a waste of money given the non-effect.

I adore the fragrance of this candle but am disappointed in the way it burns. The first time you use it the wicks drown so you don't get a full wax pool.

I'm just not with the majority
Because I couldn't go in-store to find a new candle, I went based on description and reviews and boy did this one turn to be a stellar miss. I realize Diptyque faithful will disagree, but, to me, this smells like a very inexpensive red Christmas candle from the early 80's. The kind my kooky, older neighbor burned. I realize that is a very personal and specific reference, but it's what the feeling this dredges up. I don't get sophisticated or nuanced spice vibes, just musty cinnamon. Eeesh

Good Holiday Scent
I like this scent, but I only burn it during Fall and Winter, primarily around the holidays. It's very strong and has great throw, but it's also got those holiday-evoking scents like clove and cinnamon, etc. I prefer Myrrhe and Cyprés, but this is a nice choice as well.

Not So Much
Love Diptque candles; but was not that impressed with this one's scent/thro. Scent: Mosty faint orange. Thro: ALMOST filled one room, but not really. After about a 2 hour burn there was some occasional smoking (I always keep wicks trimmed before burn), and the wax is now starting to tunnel. Followed all instructions; have not had this problem with any of the oter scents. Will not be repurchasing this particular scent.

My Favorite!
It reminds me of Fall going into Winter. Creamy fall spices, comforting smell in your home. I was told this is the candle that Realtors light in homes when they are trying to sell. Your ginger snap cookie cooking in the oven. I wish I had a dollar for everyone I bought for so many years!
