I don't typically care for Oud fragrances but the woody smell mixes really well with tobacco and rose. The sillage is powerful and it lasts for a very long time. A must buy!

Fragrance story: Oud Palao combines the signature scents of the East and West. Agarwood, or oud, also known as liquid gold, mingles with rose, vanilla, incense and cypriol. The sillage is intense and hypnotic.

Be wary, the scent is amazing but stock is poor
I love Oud Palao and will always. The scent is known to have excellent projection and stay on the skin superbly - even till 12 hours on some. When I received my second bottle (this time from Nordstrom), I immediately knew something was off; the scent was enormous as usual when sprayed, but died down within an hour. I tried some testers in local Nordstrom locations and found the same shocking and disappointing results. I'd steer clear from Nordstrom for this one until they get a whole new batch, and buy directly from the manufacturer. A sure way to test if you have the strong and original stuff, is to spray just once on your neck and see if the performance remains CONSTANT for AT LEAST ONE HOUR. Oud Palao is an amazing and global fragrance; but it really seems it will be a while until Nordstrom clears itself of the current batch they are distributing, shipping, and selling across the nation.

Awesome Scent
I'm on my second bottle of this perfume. I've been complimented pretty much every time I wear this perfume outside of my home. I love the scent of it myself and yeah I've pretty much made it my go to scent. The sillage is excellent, and so is the longevity. This is not a timid scent. It gets noticed. It works very well for me and yeah I would recommend this one to anyone who likes the ouds. For the price(Oud is soo pricey) you really cannot beat this.

Mezcal in a bottle - my absolute fave
Smoky, intense, woody, with a hint of vanilla. Superb evening fragrance but I also wear it during the day as an impact statement. Powerful fragrance .
Reminds me of Tom Ford velvet orchid, another favourite of mine. If you are not a fan of florals( like me) this is for you. Thank you to the staff and Liverpool Street station who helped me uncover this gem!

Dark and complex
At the start, there is a lot of earthy oud, tobacco and rose, Laotian oud adds that unusual note to the composition, then gets softer, fragrant with woody patchouli. Feels beautiful, dark and complex. Definitely unisex leaning slightly feminine on my skin. Good silage and better than average longevity.
