Beautiful jar - completes 34 collection
It was so difficult to get my hands on this candle. I have the 34 candle in white oval-shaped pottery vessel and I really loved it. I felt this one will fit beautifully into my collection. I agree with the other reviewers. Fresh scent that throws well. Scent lingers a few hours after the candle flame is extinguished. Love it

Public bathroom scene
First of all, this candle is extremely small. Second, the scent is just not worth the money. The scent surprisingly doesn't match the look of the candle at all. It is extremely light and powdery with a been of a green smell. It isn't an awful smell, but the issue is that it smells exactly like a public bathroom. It smells like the soaps and fragrances used in bathrooms with that very distinct baby powder/almond scent. It definitely isn't the best scent and not worth the money, but mainly it's just bad because it is associated when public bathrooms.

Beautiful though subtle
I am in love with the scent and the packaging. Beautiful notes of sandalwood and lavender. It reminds me of the Afternoon of the Faun (both music and the ballet), hence my associations and impressions - summer, a magical early evening... It is not the strongest of Diptique candles, but the throw is still good and much better than the offerings of many competitors (e.g. Cire Trudon's Josephine which I bought around the same time).
I love having it on my desk unlit, I keep catching its elegant scent throughout the day.

incredible quality
scent is amazing and fills up the whole room, so pleasant + packaging is beautiful!
id never gotten a candle from Diptyque before and wasn't disappointed, it can seem very expensive but the quality is just out of this world. the smell lingers on beautifully for days even when not lit in the room and isn't obnoxious at all

Uplifting aromatic scent
The Diptyque L'Elide candle has a unique fresh aromatic scent with notes of lavender and sandalwood combined with bitter orange and spicy accords. The candle quickly fills the room with an uplifting long lasting fragrance. The black fauna vessel it is housed in is so beautiful and would make a perfect addition to any home. This would is a wonderful scent to burn all year round.

Uplifting Sent
I bought this item because I love Diptyque, and rather liked the look of the jar. The sent is in my opinion lovely, quite strong, but I put it in my lounge, which is large with high ceilings, and even without lighting I could smell this candle without evening lighting it.
