What it is: A candle presented in an elegant glass vessel featuring the spicy scent of Genévrier.
Fragrance story: Genévrier is spicy, smoky and bursting with an irresistible scent that's combined with aromatic, fruity bitterness of citrus peel. The fragrance of juniper's berries is surprisingly complex. It lends its aromas to many specialties including gin.
How to use: The first time you burn your diptyque candle, allow it to burn for at least two hours until the whole top is liquid with wax to help your candle burn more evenly next time. Before lighting, trim the wick to a 1/4-inch length, which will allow the candle to burn slowly and help avoid unsightly black marks around the edge of the glass. After blowing out your candle, re-center and straighten the wick.

New favorite winter scent
I usually stick to florals from Diptyque, but I wanted something wintery for Christmas and bought Genevrier based on the description as I don't live near a store. So glad I did! It has quickly become my favorite--I have almost finished it and just reordered. It's a soft, warm juniper--like pine, but not all sharp or pungent. Divine scent for winter.

Very masculine
I wanted to try a new Diptyque flavor & I'm glad I did. This scent is very unique. Smells like pine & juniper. It's masculine. My boyfriend likes this candle a lot. I like to light it & put it in the bathroom so when he gets home he can smell it when he showers. I prefer Jasmine, Choisya & Eucalyptus. I want to try Oranger next. I probably wouldn't repurchase this scent.

Lovely
I love this candle so so so much! The way it looks it just makes me so happy. It elevates my bedroom decor and I am so pleased with it. The smell is so unique. It’s like fresh and also little bit masculine. The smell also stays for a long time in the room and you don’t have to light it for a long time to start smelling the candle.

Subtle Juniper Berry Scent

One to repurchase
I always love a good candle and this is one of my favorites. The scent is very fresh and the candle burns for a good amount of time. I like that the packaging is subtle, unlike a lot of candles that are over the top or too fancy for their own good. I will come back to it again in future when I'm looking for something new in my collection!
