Eau Duelle Eau de Toilette

I was not sure how I would like this scent, because I do not normally like a traditional vanilla scent. I got it as a sample with another purchase. This fragrance has stolen my heart though. It is so lovely. Even when I try to tell myself I don't like it because its vanilla and I've never liked vanilla, I still end up smelling and liking it all day. I can't say no to this one. It is vanilla, but at the same time it is much more. It kind of reminds be of the bitter and still sweet smell of pure vanilla extract but also very soft and mellow. It is not overpowering at all, seems to last well throughout the day, and doesn't morph into something artificial. It seems a little more floral at first spray but wears to a cool, soft, vanilla and slightly woody smell. It mixes well with other scents from bath products and lotions. I will most definitely be purchasing the full-size! I think its a great daytime fragrance for the office. It fits in well and doesn't become nauseating or offensive to others. If you are looking for something that is somewhat familiar yet still unique and great for daytime give this one a try.

I'm obsessed with Eau Duelle Eau de Toilette! I have yet to try the parfum version, but the Edt is intoxicating! I'm a huge fan of vanilla perfumes, and after several of my favorite beauty vloggers from Youtube raved about Eau Duelle, I had to try it. I got a sample and couldn't stop using it/sniffing it until it was all gone and realized that I was sad to see the sample go. So even though I have a lot of perfumes I'm trying to work through in my collection, I had to get this. It's soooo gorgeous. I don't know how to describe it other than to say it reminds me of a campfire mixed with vanilla, with a hint of church smell. The unusual woody/fire component mixed with frankincense fades subtly leaving a really warm, creamy, enveloping vanilla. This is a qualilty vanilla. Exotic and sweet but not overly saccharine. There's no Play Doh scent to this that I can discern. That can be a downside to some vanilla scents, it veers into Play Doh territory, but on me, this just becomes a really creamy vanilla. I am loving it in this bitter cold weather, it is such a cozy, comforting smell. I highly recommend it. I regret buying the small bottle.

I love diptyque eau lante. It was out and I wanted to try something new but similar. This is so strong, I felt nauseous. I recommend using very little. The vanilla note is so overpowering, I can't smell saffron or cardamom. But my bf likes this smell, and it is feminine and great for nights. I need more soft spice or flower, so I'll go back to lante.
