Details & care
What it is: An ode to mint, a fresh fragrance with notes of patchouli, geranium, mint and rose oxide.
Fragrance story: Inspired by a Greek myth, Eau de Minthé reinvents an emblematic perfumery accord, fougère, drawing on the scent of mint. Worst Customer Experience Service in my life.
Horrible Service that makes me question if I want to still be a customer. Little acknowledgement from staff, one person engaged and was not helpful just talked about his time in NY in retail. Asked if I was going to buy the product in my hand and said he needed to put a note on it so that people knew I was intending to purchase it. Then downstairs no one to help me in fragrances. The person who finally helped me was rushing me and I said I have a great relationship with my SAs in Bellevue and pentagon city and that I get samples with my purchases. She said they don’t do that in Portland. After I persisted she found two and threw them in my bag. I got a good fragrance but will be returning it. Never have I felt racially profiled or felt unwelcome.

Interesting
Minthe is definitely a unique scent and reminded me of barber shop but in a good way. The scent lasts for ages and you can smell it even after person leaves the room. It is not my cup of tea but at home it is very much loved, so good buy in the end. Definitely smell it before buying.

Great Fougere
I like quite masculine scents so was attracted to this when I first read about it although I was initially concerned that it might be too minty and just smell like a cheap shower gel. I tried it in store a couple of times before purchase and would advise not to buy blind as I think it is quite a marmite scent. It is definitely quite masculine in that the floral notes that develop are herbaceous because the geranium is more dominant than the rose. The mint is not overpowering at all but adds a lovely green freshness. The longevity is good and lasts through the day. It is not my favourite Diptique scent but I am enjoying it as a Summery day time fragrance.

Love Diptique
I love all of the Diptique perfumes. One is slightly different to the others with its mint, geranium scent. It wears well and the smell will last throughout the day. is one of the stronger, smelling perfumes. I would definitely buy this again. a fabulous addition to anyone’s collection of perfumes

Wow
I’m very much a rose/white floral/amber scent kind of gal. So when I went in-store to pick up my first ever Diptyque fragrance, I was expecting to leave with Eau de Rose or maaaaybe Ilio (can’t resist a limited edition). I picked this one up with a mix of curiosity and mild disgust but oh my days, it’s BEYOND incredible. It’s minty and fresh and green and slightly floral and smells like clean clothes. What a unique treasure of a scent, definitely one to try in person if you can!

Just divine
I bought this for my husband. It’s such a unique scent, so fresh but the base notes come through woody and intoxicating. Love it - bonus is he does too !
