What it is: A solid perfume balm designed to be applied with the fingertips and fragranced with notes of sensual tuberose. It is a way to make the invisible sensual and the ethereal tangible.
Fragrance story: This scent brings to mind the sunset hour in Do San, when the white flowers stand out against the darkness of the wooden pagoda where Yves Coueslant, one of diptyque’s founders, spent his summers as a child. The sea breeze carried with it the heady, spicy scent of tuberoses. Do Son has the delicateness and persistence of a memory from a childhood in Indochina, a memory of flowers in all their sensual delight.
Style: Floral.
Notes: tuberose, orange blossom, jasmine, marine accord.
How to use: Apply the solid perfume on your pulse points with your fingertips, where your body gives off the most heat: on your wrists and inside your elbows, at the base of your neck, behind your ears and on your décolleté. Doesn't last at all
The packaging is adorable—both the design and weight are perfect. However, the solid perfume's longevity is disappointing. After just 20 minutes, the scent fades to the point where it's barely noticeable on your wrist. The fragrance itself is lovely, but I'd recommend buying it in a different format. In comparison, the eau de parfum I sprayed on a tester strip lasted for about a week

Perfect light floral for travel
I bought this perfume at the original Diptyque store in Paris as a nice souvenir. I had actually gone in for a different scent but fell in love wit Do Son. To me the solid perfume is perfect for travel because it's not a liquid and its very compact. The fragrance also sticks around much longer than spray scents. I love that I can get refills for my compact from Nordstrom.

Do Son Solid Perfune
I LOVE my Do Son solid perfume!!! The case is beautiful. small, weighty. I wear Do Son spray on perfume and the solid has a stronger scent that lasts longer and doesn't get on my jewelry like can happen with spray. I love Do Son, the tuberose is very pronounced and exotic. the lovely case for the solid is great to carry in a purse or is beautiful on a dressing table or mirrored tray. A precious purchase.

Lovely
I bought this as a gift for my mum and now seriously tempted to get it for myself as well. It's one of my favourite Diptyque fragrances and the solid feels like such a chic, on-the-go version. The fragrance is a beautiful, creamy white floral with prominent tuberose and a soft, slightly fresh undertone that isn’t too overpowering. The balm texture melts nicely into the skin and makes application feel really luxurious. It sits closer to the skin compared to the spray, which I actually prefer for everyday wear. The compact packaging is gorgeous and perfect for touch-ups. Overall, it’s a subtle, elegant fragrance that feels very refined and personal.

Beautiful
the most beautiful scent - perfect all year round, for day or evening. The little case is equally beautiful, and perfect for travelling and commuting. In recent years I have really struggled with strong perfumes especially those in spray bottles, however this is just perfect.
