Classy & Classic accessory for a candle lover
I'm a bit of a candle fanatic, especially when it comes to Diptyque! This candle snuffer is the perfect little accent to put next to my favorite candle. I've had so many people pick it up and ask me about it! Not only is it charming, but it also serves a functional purpose -- snuffing a candle rather than blowing it out helps prevent soot from depositing onto your pristine $60 Diptyque candle!

Don't get it
I have numerous candles and the wick trimmer so I thought this would be a good idea too. Not sure if I have been using it incorrectly, but when you put it over the flame, unless the bottom touches the wax surface, it can't be put off. But then you will have wax all over the rim. Hmm maybe they should have a youtube tutorial. Much prefer their lid.

The snuffer
This snuffer has good weight balance and it rotates which is good. The reason for the 3 stars is that it's almost impossible to clean and its sort of difficult to snuf out flames without having to submerge it in the wax.

Diptyque accessory
I use the Diptyque candle lid as a snuffer , but the smoke can negatively impact the candle wax and the lid only fits the medium sized candles, so I was unable to use it for the smaller and larger candle sizes anyway. This is where the candle snuffer comes in, it’s elegant and works across the sizes. It won’t rust and any wax that has dried on it easily comes off. Great for all candle appreciators

I’ve always wanted a candle snuffer. And as a candle obsessed lady I kind of justify that I needed one. It’s sophisticated and makes me feel a little bit downton Abbey. It’s such a lovely item to possess, and is decorative with your lovely candles...

Nice to have but not a necessity
I found this candle snuffer to be very well made and looks good on the table. It is easy enough to use for all candle sizes. The adjustable top makes it easy to extinguish the flame from any angle. However I don't think this is a must have. Does make a great gift tho.
