What it is: A Nordstrom-exclusive, limited-edition refined and enchanting accessory for your diptyque candle, sold separately.
What it does: This gilded lantern is decorated with delicate cut-outs inspired by the iconic Basile motif. It rotates when the candle is lit, projecting delightful light and shadow effects all around.
How to use: diptyque recommends lighting the candle before placing the lantern on top. The movement of the lantern varies according to the scent of the candle and the air circulating the room. Do not touch the lantern while the candle is lit. After blowing out the candle, wait for the lantern to cool before removing it or touching it.

Beautiful home decor piece!
I love the color and design of this candle lantern. As many have stated, the fact that it isn’t a Christmas-specific design means you can use it all year-long!
For those who have had issues where it stopped spinning after awhile- I also had this problem, so I took some olive oil and put it on a qtip, then rubbed it on the underside of the lantern where the point of the base touches it, as well as the point, and now it spins non-stop! I live in dry CO, so that may have something to do with why it wasn’t working before.

Disappointing
I had huge expectations from this but sadly it didn't match them. It didn't spin so I kept blowing on it. I tried it on a Diptyque candle as well as another brand. It started turning and I was delighted but stopped soon afterwards. It looks pretty and delicate but not worth the money in my opinion.

Throws beautiful light
This is a true thing of beauty. As the carousel turns, it throws light onto the wall that is very mesmerising. I have the other carousel as well and I bring them both our for Christmas. They do need regular cleaning as carbon soot from the candle wick can tarnish the metal. But worth doing

So pretty, all year round
Although this product was designed for the Christmas season it is beautiful all year round. Really delicate and sticking. I was after a different product but it was sold out and went for this instead and I am really happy that I got this instead. It sets the mood and is charming within the room . During the day without the candle lit is still looks lovely.

Beautiful
I always tend to buy the Christmas carousels each year but this is the first year that I purchased the lantern - it really is spectacular and I love the way that it looks with the 2021 Christmas candles and their gold fleck designs... my only bug bear being that, much like the carousels, unfortunately the heat from the candle tends to discolour the metal.
