Cooling, softening, a little goes a long way.
If you have oily or normal skin, this is a terrific cream. It feels so cool and soft going on the skin, and requires so little that a 1.7 oz bottle should last about 6 months. Dior is a little more expensive than other lines, and its also a little LESS expensive than other lines. But with quality like this and the fact that you will not need to buy it very often, makes it WORTH IT.
Older and drier skin might want to try the Capture Total creams. Although its a matter of opinion. If you have dry skin and want to try Hydra-Life, I say go ahead - it may work well for you. Personally, I am 58 and have dry, very sensitive skin. I prefer the Capture Totale line because its richer, but keep HydraLife sorbet crème for super-hot days.
I have rosacea and very sensitive skin and Dior products are the only ones that do not cause burning and redness because they have little to no fragrance. I was so happy, that at age 58 I have found the perfect skin care line after literally trying all the others.

Not good for dry dkin
I received a sample of a hydra creme that I loved inside a Nordstrom store but the sales clerk forgot to specify which type hydra life creme she gave me so I ordered this one online and it was definitely not the same as the sample. This product did not hydrate my skin at all. It felt like I had not put a moisturizer on and I ended up putting on a body lotion for more moisture.

Best moisturizer for oily/ combination skin.
This is the best moisturizer I have ever used. I have combination skin a bit more on the oily side. Naturally my skin is super sensitive. This product provides real hydration for my skin and thus preventing excess oil production. It has a bit tingle during application, and I really love that because it makes my skin feel cool and minty fresh kind of. Very mild! Leavening my skin hydrated and refreshed all day. Glowing skin without that greasy shine!

fantastic, non-greasy, great-smelling moisturizer!
I am a huge fan of sorbet moisturizers because they just absorb into your skin and that's it -- no grease! I've been using it for a few days now and my skin is definitely more moisturized. I am acne-prone and this has not caused any breakouts; it might be early to say (I've been using it for about 10 days now), but I think it's even helping my acne. It smelled great and kind of leaves a slight minty feeling on your skin!

Skin transformation!
I have combination skin and I've been using this with the Hydra Life Water Essence for the last 3 weeks. My skin looks and feels balanced, hydrated, and supple. Acne breakouts and residual scars are clearing up. This stuff this amazing!

This saved my skin
This saved my skin this winter! I have always had really dry skin in the winter and really struggled to find a moisturizer that kept my face feeling hydrated for more than 30 minutes, but this one has done it for me. My face feels like it stays hydrated all day, and the creme doesn’t feel heavy or sticky when applied which I also love! It did take me a while to get used to the smell however. It is a very lovely smell, but it is just a bit on the perfumy side so I would highly suggest visiting a Dior counter to try it out before you buy it.
