What it is: A high-performance, age-defying face lotion that makes skin visibly smooth and more radiant day after day while deeply hydrating it.

What it does: The first step in the Dior Capture skincare routine, Dior Capture Intensive Essence Lotion combines the freshness of a lotion with the richness of an essence. It deeply hydrates the 10 layers of the epidermis for 24 hours. At the heart of the formula, the signature OX-C Treatment™ activates oxygen and triples collagen production. Metaboline, a combination of exclusive active ingredients, boosts 10 skin-regenerating proteins to promote its renewal. The formula is completed with a revitalizing lily extract and a duo of plumping hyaluronic acids. It is ideal for use in conjunction with at-home skincare devices, such as LED masks, microcurrents or massage tools.

How to use: Dispense 2–3 shakes of Dior Capture Intensive Essence Lotion into the palm of your hand. Apply morning and night to the face and neck before Dior Capture Le Sérum.

Dior Capture Intensive Essence — Fantastic!

I absolutely love this essence toner! It is not perfumed at all, which I really appreciate, and the texture is absolutely velvety and luxurious on the skin. It glides on beautifully, feels incredibly soft and comforting, and leaves my skin feeling hydrated and pampered. Dior, you did it again! This is a fantastic lotion and definitely one I’ll be keeping in my skincare rotation.

Luxury product, wonderful scent, careful with sensitive skin

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really wanted to love this product but a few aspects did not work well for my skin type. The consistency is slightly thinner than expected, more like a toner. While the scent is really lovely, it was a little over powering for me. Unfortunately my skin also had a reaction to this, maybe due to the scent components, so I had to discontinue use. On a positive note, I passed it along to my sister who has less sensitive skin and she is really enjoying it. I’m sure she’ll look younger than me in no time as she said it’s helping to tighten up fine lines.

Amazing results

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The fine lines are disappearing! I’ve used retinol products before and they were too harsh for my skin but I’ve had no issues using this twice a day. It soaks right in (leaves a tacky feeling for maybe 1/2 minutes). I noticed a significant difference in just a few days - fine lines around my lips, eyes and forehead have definitely smoothed out. This product is scented; but I don’t find it overwhelming at all.

No allergy perfect to apply and easy and look good on my skin

Great lotion

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This feels great on the skin and absorbs quickly without any stickiness. It softened my face and gave a nice healthy glow that felt refreshing before I put on my moisturizer. It has a pleasant aroma of flowers. It's not cheap but should last a long time. And will leave you with smoother skin.

Really fragranced

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this as an incentive for an honest review. This is very fragranced. If you're sensitive to smell, I don't recommend it. The consistency is like a waterd down oil. It absorbs in well. It's a little tacky until it completely absorbs. It is effective and leaves your skin with a glow from within. The fragrance sticks around, though, that is for sure. I do recommend it as it is effective.
