Breeze 'n Shade 2-Pack Mesh Window Shades

I really liked the idea of these, and was curious how they stay on with the sloped edge of a door. I thought they would have silicone on the elastic or something to hold them in place, but it is really just a mesh sleeve with elastic at the bottom. They were snug to pull over the window, but once on they just slide up the window unless I were to hold it in place to shut the door. The mesh part also looked really baggy and messy on my car with the extra material. The mesh doesn't stretch for different window sizes, so unless you have the perfect shape and size, they aren't going to look like the example. For reference I have a Kia Soul. I love my Diono carseat, and hoped the same consideration had gone into these. I'll just be looking for the peel and stick window shades or something similar.
