Akris
Alice Kriemler-Schoch launched Akris in Switzerland in 1922, using the letters in her name as the brand's label. Now led by the third generation of the Kriemler family, Akris is the largest Swiss clothing maker, though it still hires local artisans to create its clothing and handbags, lending to the clean, understated style of both Akris and relaxed sportswear line Akris punto.

LOVE! How can a black scarf be soooo NICE?!
Akris uses Loro Piana cashmere yarn, and with a tad of silk added to it, this scarf is SUBLIME. Very warm and silky soft, but also lightweight / non-bulky. Smaller than your typical rectangle scarf... perfect size for putting the points in front of your neck, and winding the sides back and around, and tie in front... your neck and top of your chest is covered, without 2 extra feet of dangling scarf. You can also fold it into a triangle and wear it as a shawl (I'm a size 16). Perfect for traveling... goes into my purse, and I can pull it out whenever I get chilly on a plane. LOVE!
