Diamond & Freshwater Pearl Pendant Necklace

This pearl necklace looks elegant and the pearl is very pretty with the diamond sitting above it. When wearing it, the pearl and diamond tend to turn so that you cannot see the diamond. What you do see is the side of the white gold element holding it on the chain, so I am constantly turning it. It would be a better design if the element holding the gem and pearl had a wider base so that it didn't turn so easily. Otherwise, I am pleased with the pearl's color and the overall elegance the necklace presents. I was very UNHAPPY with the way Nordstrom delivered the necklace to me. This was a nearly $800 purchase and it arrived in a standard jewelry box with the necklace just sitting on top the standard scratchy jewelry box foam. It did not come in a cushioned box with the pearl protected. I will never purchase another gemstone from Nordstrom again.
