Strapless Crepe Jumpsuit

I am a wedding planner and wanted to wear something a bit outside of the box but still classic for my daughter's wedding. I see so many MOB dresses and just rarely love them, but this one did the trick. I am petite (5'0"so this had to be hemmed quite a bit and I also had legs brought in so they weren't as wide (but still very wide legged). I paired this with an ADA wrap belt and the outfit was stunning, trend savvy, but still timeless. Caviar color was the only color available when I ordered and I actually really loved it. One note - I had been to Dessy's website and based on measurements I entered they told me to order a 4 which would have been huge. I started with a 2 and returned for 0. I think this runs big.

Stunning jumpsuit! The material is great quality and the structured top is very flattering and secure. The green was a beautiful color as well. Unfortunately, it was not made for a taller girls. I’m 5’9” and typically a size 4. The width seemed TTS, and the legs had enough length (perhaps just slightly shorter than I’d like), but the body part was too short (giving me a wedgie and not coming up high enough at the same time). I really wanted to make it work, and saw there was a long size available on their website, but unfortunately that just extended the length of the legs and not the bodice.

This classic, dressy jumpsuit is beautiful and well-made. However, order at least 1 size larger because it runs small. I am 5’7”, a size 6 and 150 lbs. I am also “busty”, so I couldn’t zip it up over my chest. If you’re a curvy woman such as myself, this may not be the jumpsuit for you. Again, order at least a size up.

I'm searching for a jumpsuit for a wedding, I'm giving it 3 stars because it runs so big. My suggestion is size down potentially 1-2 sizes. Honestly, If I had the right size, right out of the box, it may have gotten 4 stars. I'm ordering multiple jumpsuits to try, and many are on sale. I'm looking for a "WOW" on the first try. Here are the benefits: Color is stunning, fabric is gorgeous, style is fun and very sexy, style would have been great if it fit me. The downside- It runs very big and I'm very small on top, so it did nothing for me. For reference: I'm 5'7, 135 and typically a 4 on top and a 6-8 on bottom depending on designer. I ordered an 8. I needed a 2-4 for the top and a 6 bottom, and still may need alterations. If this style is for you and you want to turn heads- Try it! Dessy makes some beautiful dresses and pantsuits sold at very high end retailers. It was shipped direct from Dessy.
