What it is: A luxe hand and body soap enhanced with natural ingredients that help with skin that is dry and has been stripped of essential oils.

Fragrance story: An escape to arid abandonment and hazy blue skies. A warm accord of woodland ash, may rose and musk evokes sun-drenched sands dotted with wildflowers. An herbal infusion of wild sage, rosemary and lavender is grounded by the minerality of heated rocks, dusty tumbleweeds and barren woods, resulting in an intoxicating scent and an invigorating experience.

Full of sulfates!

Contrary to what the other reviewer wrote, sodium lauryl sulfate is the second ingredient in this- after water. While SLS can give a good lather, it dries out the skin and is not a good choice of ingredient in 2023 (luxury brands should know this by now). Disappointed in Antica for using ingredients like this in their (otherwise lovely) products.

Bath beauties

I really have enjoyed Antica-Farmacista's products: these gentle and non-SLS products are soapless and easy on sensitive skin. I enjoy herbal and 'green' scents and wondered what desert sage smelled like! (As an ex-Californian) I was just using this gel as a hand-wash. As an autoimmune patient, I like non-soapy products and this one fits perfectly. My sensitive skin doesn't break out and the sage smell is lilting and very delicate. So, I tried it in the shower and it was just as great on my pouf! No soap scum, harsh chemicals and my skin smelled yummy. It makes (I think) a lovely gift for anyone.
