What it is: A revitalizing treatment gel-cream that transforms skin overnight by optimizing nighttime skin recovery.
What it does: Persian silk-tree extract reduces signs of skin fatigue and restores vitality while wu-zhu-yu extract provides visibly radiant skin by morning. Tamarind seed polysaccharide cushions skin, creating a nourishing cocoon of comfort for softer, more hydrated skin. Australian kakadu plum extract, rich in antioxidant vitamin C, is clinically shown to improve and brighten skin tone. Encapsulated motion-activated French lavender essential oil, along with calming sandalwood and patchouli, soothe the senses with aromatherapy to help promote deep, restful sleep for healthier-looking skin.
How to use: Twist to unlock the product then press down to dispense. Smooth over your face and neck as the last step in your nighttime regimen. Allow it to melt into skin overnight.

The best overnight cream
Yes, this is expensive, but oh my goodness it is the most amazing product in the most efficient packaging. A water cream type consistency gently scented with lavender and the power to give you a a rested night sleep. A very gentle recipe and your skin will be silky smooth in the morning. Highly recommended worth every penny!

Do not get the hype
As a long term lover of Dermalogica - i was super excited to try this, especially as someone who swings from 'normal' or dry/ dehydrated from time to time, i found this to be very lacklustre - its 'ok' but no long lasting signs of hydrating, dont feel like it plumps, the formula is very thin and watery so it feels like you've put nothing on. Would not repurchase.

Smells amazing, but not a true "night cream"
This stuff smells good (great actually), but I am not a fan of how lightweight it is. If you're looking for something that is a heavier night cream, this isn't it. I know it says "gel-cream" but I thought it might be a little thicker? The container is also the most annoying thing in the entire world; they really need to repackage it.
I am giving it three stars, because it did make my skin look nice after one use, and it smells great. I did return it though because of how light weight it was. If you want something lighter, this is definitely great! I like all Dermalogica products, this one just didn't work for me personally.

Sleep aid?
Haven't noticed anything different about my skin yet, although it's only been a couple of weeks. It is a very light moisturizer that has a delightful lavender fragrance which has a calming affect towards a restful sleep. So far, I would rather spray my bed linens with lavender essential oil versus the price for this lotion.

Broke me out
Got a 10 ml of this to test the product and initially I was very impressed on first try. I loved the smooth silky texture. Lightweight but still gave good hydration. The lavender scent was also very nice and sooting. My skin looked nice and plumped in the morning. There was only one problem. it broke me out badly after a few uses. Big cystic pimples. Guess my sensitive skin couldn't handle the essential oils in this product. Sucks, because I was very close to buying a full size after the first try.

Dermalogica Sound sleep cocoon
I have been using dermalogica products for 30 years. I use most of the age smart range and sound sleep compliments this.
Sound sleep is one of my favourites. It does feel as if it sits on your skin with the gel texture but it feels amazing in the morning. I would recommend.

The best bedtime cream
This sleep cocoon is a gentle, water cream, with the most relaxing and luxury lavender calming scent. It truly is spa like. This is an expensive treat but when it is factored into a daily or weekly routine, you really do appreciate and notice the difference when you’ve used it. (and how easily used to sleep with the lavender effect.)
