Siena Leather Hobo Bag

I wanted to love this handbag, but unfortunately for me and my frame it is just much too large. I saw the dimensions and looked at the pictures online, but in person it just did not work for me. Unfortunately, I will need to return.

The bag came without the protective bag, tag, and even the protective wrap on the hardware, and has a lot of scratches on the suede. I would be okay with it if I had purchased the bag from a discount store for one-third of its price, but it is not what I expect from a reliable store like Nordstrom for the $400+. Shame on you, Nordstrom. That is my second DeMellier bag, and the first bag I purchased a couple of years ago came beautifully packed in the DeMellier gift box, with a protective bag inside, and with all its hardware very shiny and covered with protective plastic. I ordered the Siena bag as a gift, but it would not be possible for the bag I received - it truly seems that I bought that bag from the final sale in Rack. I hope that my order was a fluke and I got a previously purchased and returned bag; I reordered the Siena bag (which should arrive later). Keep my fingers crossed that it arrives in unused condition.

This is a well constructed bag. It’s beautiful.
