Delta Genuine Shearling Lined City Dry^™ Waterproof Bootie (Women)

Purchased these boots for a December trip to Quebec where the weather was -4F / -20C. My feet were warm and dry even with lots of fresh snow on the ground. Very happy with the purchase. I usually wear a size 7 in casual shoes and 7.5 in running shoes. I have a high instep and ended up exchanging the 7.5 for an 8 in order to make it easier to zip / accommodate winter socks. I’d recommend sizing up at least a half size.

These are very solid boots with great tread and a warm lining. They do not cut into your ankles, as some ankle boots do, and are easy to get into with the front zipper. I need arch support and they appear to have that. I bought a full size larger, as reviewers suggested, and they fit exactly right. I think a size and a half larger might have been fine also. Overall a good buy if you need waterproof and warm.

Nice looking. But... on the smaller foot and ankle, the zipper variably works somewhat or not at all. This has been an issue on a few models in the past year per several reviews in the shopping sphere. Otherwise, they are long and narrow but have enough height for the toes (vs my last La Canadienne purchase which had enough toe height for a child) and the proper shearling is super soft, so if you need to used them as jump boots (which I did), you won't be in pain. They held up well in the PNW floods but that zipper fail is a real issue and could cause injury if I had to use them as jump boots again, as the zipper only works when the boot is warmed.
