How to use: Apply a thin coat of Base Coat and allow to dry for two minutes. Follow with two coats of your chosen polish and allow that to dry for two minutes as well. Finish with a thin coat of Top Coat and let dry for two minutes.

top and bottom polish
This is the best top and bottom coat I’ve ever used. I usually get my nails done at a nail salon. Since they’ve been closed I’ve been trying other brands and doing my own nails at home. This is by far the best nail polish I’ve ever used. It dries fast and smooth.

Very Disappointed
I was so excited to get this gel nail duo, I just don't have time to get manicures all the time. I thought that a Deborah Lipman product would be great, unfortunately that was not my experience. I used the products exactly as was described and even used a Deborah Lipman color between the base and top coat. It looked great at first, but in a matter of only a few hours the polish began peeling right off, some of my nail polish almost slid right off my nails. In 24 hours they were all off. For $45 I expected so much more. I wouldn't bother buying this, I'm planning to return mine.

Dried fast but peels off right away
It's supposed to be like a gel polish without the UV curing because it claims to last longer than regular polish. However, it peels right. In fact, in started peeling about 2 hours after applying it. Worst polish I've ever used.

Ugh.
I was so excited when this product was introduced. I had thought to myself before I even saw it, that I really wish someone would develop a top coat that you can use that provides long wear like a gel manicure, without the UV lights. I tried the original version of this set, as well as the "new and improved" one. Both of them chipped the same day or next day, and I gave each two tries in case the nail tech hadn't followed the directions correctly (and I even called the toll-free number for the company for usage tips).
Hope they get this product right eventually. I can't imagine why they let this go to production in its current form...

This stuff is a life changer!!
I was a little skeptical to buy this set as I read the reviews and some of the more recent were pretty negative. Do not hesitate to buy this stuff!! It is THE BEST! I have tried so many nail kits (the ones that are like $200 with the mini UV lamp) just to save some time by not having to go to the nail salon. I promise you will not be disappointed! Just make sure to follow the directions as stated and this stuff works. I think the people who have posted bad reviews didn’t read the directions correctly because this took about 20min tops to use! I also bought the nail polish to go with it.
Just FYI, I did use the “stripper” nail polish remover before applying the base coat. Maybe the users that wrote bad reviews didn’t? It doesn’t say on the bottle that you have to use the specific nail polish remover but I would bet that it will improve the life span of your polish if you clean your nails with it before application.

perfection
I do my own nails every week and I'm always on the lookout for products that last. This set works every time. I love the consistency of the base coat. It's really coating the nails. I never have yellow nails and I use a lot of dark reds and pinks. The top coat is magic. I used to use 2 layers of top coat to prevent chipping, but there is no need with this product. I apply one thick coat of top coat and I'm done. It dries quickly, evenly, and looks like a glass finish. Gorgeous.
