Almost a great idea...
I really love the idea of this jacket and the fit is great for a pear shape like me. The weight is also great for PNW winter.
I have two issues, and the first is my main gripe: the sleeves unzip them selves! For me one does it more than the other, but they both gradually unzip, and it's even more drastic if you move your arms around a lot. This could be completely eliminated if there was a clip or something at the end of the zips. This loses two entire stars for me because it's such a major design flaw. Such a shame!
My second more minor issue is the color selection - the colors are cute but it's a really limited palette and the only relatively neutral option that doesn't look awful with my warm olivey skin tone is boring black, which is what I ended up with.

Great Coat
I love my coat. It looks great and slightly oversized, and very warm. Love the zip off sleeves and the option to wear it as a vest, which makes it useful across seasons. I thought the buttons were magnetic, but they are push puttons. Pockets are nice and large, there are felt lined pockets under the ones on the front that are made to slip your hands into.

Warm and cute
I love this jacket. It's warm and I actually feel cute wearing it. My only small nit is that the material is crinkly so it's sort of a loud jacket. If that sort of thing bothers you, be warned. Otherwise, it's got great pockets, it's useful in 3 seasons given the ability to remove the sleeves and super cute.

The perfect jacket does exist
Obsessed is an understatement. This coat fits exactly as I dreamed. Listen to the reviews and size down if you’re between. It’s so cute and such a good transitional piece. My only complaint is there was a pretty big hole in the lining of the pocket on arrival but I live in Canada so it was not worth the cost and hassle to deal with exchanging and I’m sure that was a one off.

Why didn’t I buy this sooner?!
I love this jacket! It fits a little oversized but I like that I can add layers underneath as needed and have more opportunities to style it vs. just wearing it for warmth. The removable sleeves and deep pockets are game changers. I can’t believe I didn’t buy it sooner!
