Not very hydrating
I think that of a product sells itself as being a hydration serum then it really needs to actually hydrate your skin! This serum was ok - sank in very well but it didn’t feel at ALL hydrating to the extent that I actually used another product z afterwards to add hydration

Excellent Hydration
This serum is very light, but very hydrating to the skin. It absorbs quickly and parched skin feels instantly relieved. I use this product in the Spring, Summer and Fall; and then I switch to a more dense serum for the winter. I am very pleased with Darphin products overall and have been using them for years. Of all their serums, this is my favorite. It is highly recommended.

So far so good!!
So far so good! I have only been using this a couple of weeks, but from what I can tell it has help a lot with my dry patches and flaky skin. It is very hydrating, but I still use my La Mer cream on top of it. I use it night and day, and it does not leave me greasy at all.

If this is randomly on sale…
Know that you will receive products that is about to be expired. I ordered two bottles as it was on good sale, and checked batch number; found out that I received products manufactured nearly 2years ago and about to expire in 4 months. I’ve used this before and love what it does to my skin but would not buy it on sale again.

Runny like water
I wanted to really like this product but it felt like water in my hands and on my skin and so I didn’t get that hydrating sensation when applied. I’m sure it did do something as I didn’t suffer with dry skin whilst using the tester (which lasted about 2 weeks, so a little does go a long way) but I really enjoy the hydrating feeling that a product can give you. I’ve seen some reviews say that the product was unscented but I felt like it had a sweet scent which isn’t my preference. All in all, I don’t feel compelled to purchase a full size.
