Sophie Slide Sandal

Im a shoe model. size 7b. Trying on/wearing shoes is what I get paid for, so Im really careful with my feet, especially when it comes to buying shoes- if I get a blister I may loose a job...and this is hard especially in New York when you walk around all day every day! So with these, my first purchase of Dansko, Im thinking they look alittle mumsy (Im 30) but if theyre comfortable and amazing...theyre worth it. Unfortunatelty, I started to feel the friction after 10 minutes of walking. I always carry moleskin in my makeup bag so I lined the inside where it was rubbing me- the outside of the big toe and the outside of the small toe. Still could feel the stitching. So 4 band-aids later i was pain free. The good thing is there is arch support in this sandal but for the pain of wearing them in, I wouldnt buy this brand again. Oh and the sizing... I got a 37 and a 38, and kept the 38.

This is my 3rd pair of this sandal! I get one in a different color every year since it came out. It's extremely comfortable and can be worn all day long, even when you're up on your feet, walking, shopping, sight seeing. I only give it 4 stars though since the insole gets dirty and smelly and this is also the reason that I have to get a new sandal every summer. Don't have the same problem with other comfort shoes, such as Naot.

Dansko "Sophies" are the most comfortable shoes in the known world, and I have wide feet with a lot of issues. I have Sophies in about ten colors. I got married in a pair of Ivory Gold Sophies. I can wear them all day and walk in them all day without pain. The heels are just high enough to look dressy (and since the platform is about an inch, you're actually walking in 1.5"-heels, but they LOOK like 2.5-inch heels!) Keep on making them, Dansko!

Great once you get the right size. I wear a size 9. Size com version chart says to order size 39....too small so ordered a 40...still small so ordered a 41. Just know they run small . Otherwise, love them!

These sandals are very, very comfortable. I love them. I have them in white, orange and black. The red is beautiful. They can be worn with anything. I have gotten many, many compliments on them. Don't hesitate to buy. Also, the straps are adjustable for a perfect fit.

The color is not red as indicated on website and on box. The color is more of a medium raspberry (color is difficult to describe). However, the color is beautiful! I was a bit disappointed when the shoes were not red, I love red! I am keeping these shoes.The color is neutral enough shoes will go with many colors and it is a unique color. I am certain I will receive many compliments! I ordered black last year and I was stopped continually and asked the brand. Dansko shoes are the most comfortable shoes made! I am extremely happy with my purchase! I wish the shoes were not so expensive. I have resolved myself to the fact the shoes cost a lot less than a visit to the podiatrist!
