Dance Genuine Calf Hair Platform Chelsea Boot (Women)

I am a dedicated Jeffrey fan and this boot does not disappoint. I thought they looked wild online and they definitely do but in a subdued kind of way. You will be noticed. Very comfortable.. They were pricey but I am not taking these beauties back. I usually get a size 7 and these are true to size.

To get to the point, these boots looked & felt cheap. I have many JC shoes/boots & I was disappointed with these. This is the first review I’ve ever taken the time to write about a Nordstrom purchase. The gold part looks like plastic. The Kelly green part looks like bit was painted on. The upper zebra print is super stiff and where the top of the boot meets the lower calf is just not flattering. I’m returning.

As stated in title, I love the look of these stylish and FUN platform boots with its highly creative design and BOLD colors. However COMMA they are NOT that comfortable; hence, I only wear them for a very brief amount of time (like within a few hours, IF that). Let’s just put it this way…for me personally, these shoes are for a (lunch or) dinner and a movie—or maybe even a 5 minute open-mic comedy set—but definitely NOT for standing and/or walking around for hours, shopping, or even dancing. Granted, to be fair, these boots may work well for women who are used to wearing very high heels. Nonetheless, as stated in the previous 5 star review I just shared—for medium-high, black platform boots that are actually very comfortable—I’m so grateful for this brand. I love the professionally made, highly creative designs, quality material, and even combination of colors; and they actually have size 5 that fits, rather than the usual ones from other brands that are more like a 5.5. I also deeply appreciate that some of the platforms aren’t ridiculously high that it’s super uncomfortable. I bought two other pairs of boots as well. I’m a petite Japorean-American woman, so I feel blessed that an increasing number of companies are selling small, gorgeous shoes as well. Thank you so much Jeffrey Campbell & team! Mulantis
