dakota loafer

I was pleasantly surprised by these loafers! I usually find flat loafers uncomfortable. The slip off my heel, are too narrow, and make me feet hurt. Even the ones everyone else thinks are comfortable. These are the best I've tried on and were instantly comfortable. I got the orange/red color and love them and think they will go with black, denim, navy, white, etc and can be worn in all seasons. I wear a 7.5/38 in sandals and pumps, 8/38.5 in shoes with socks/boots, and 8.5 in Nike. This loafer in size 8 is a 38.5. My toes are right at the end but they are not uncomfortable since they are suede and lined with leather, making them soft and flexible. I think my heel would slip with a larger size. I like the toe shape because they are wide enough to be comfortable but slightly tapered for a more attractive style. I would prefer not yo have the brand babe on the shoe (or just the logo) but I will keep because of the fit. I usually but APL (38.5) but these are more comfortable. I plan to bring these with me on a trip to Europe and will purchase the black as well. I do wish the footbed was more cushioned, it feels like hard fabric (designed to wear barefoot). The rubber sole helps add some cushion.
