Dakota Glovetanned Leather Bucket Bag

The other "reviews" were not helpful. I think this bag is really only for carrying just the bare essentials. A small wallet, phone, maybe a tiny makeup pouch, and keys. Not for carrying the kitchen sink. The leather is smooth but may appear stiff at first. But it will soften overtime as all glovetan leather will do. The versatility takes the bag wherever you go. A great little bag!

This is the perfect crossover bag for a wallet, keys, and phone (and mine is not tiny). Coach always makes straps to short for actual attractive crossover for me, but because it also has short strap, I combine the two to make it appropriate for a tall person. And best of all? It’s the old-school SMOOTH leather and not the cheap pebble stuff. Feet on the bottom. Welcome back to classy Coach!

I love the look of this Bucket Bag... but be forewarned the magnet closure on the bag is worthless. I plan to try to replace the magnet closure ... although I can't believe Coach has no quality control. They certainly are a well respected brand and I expected more from them. The purse is quite small and without a proper closure everything in the purse is completely exposed and ready to fall out if tipped even a little. If you want to pay a lot for a purse that you will have to try to repair... then this is the purse for you. I know I could have returned this purse to Nordstrom... no problem. So the outcome is my own fault...
