Details & care

What it is: A luxury lotion bar that intensely nourishes dry skin, leaving you visibly soft, supple and glowing.

What it does: The bar's highly concentrated cocoa butter formula is chock full of fatty acids, providing dry skin with a deep conditioning body treatment. The ultrarich body butter bar glides on skin like silk and absorbs quickly, sealing in hydration without any greasy residue. Made with 100% plant-based actives, without water dilution, synthetics, fillers or alcohols. Just pure, natural nourishment for intensive moisturizing results you can see and feel. The bar features a warm, comforting and subtle scent of rose, frankincense and neroli. It is a concentrated waterless formula with 8x more active ingredients than the average bottle of bottle lotion. That means you won't need to apply as much or as often in order to get better results. A little goes a long way.

How to use: Start with warm, dry skin (ideally after a shower or bath). Prep the Daily Body Stone for use by warming it between your palms so it begins to soften with your body heat. Glide the Daily Body Stone onto your skin and gently massage oils into your skin. Luxuriate in moisturizing results you can see and feel. The bar can be used daily.

spa experience

I found the Kate McLeod Body Stone through a NY Wirecutter recommendation and ended up loving it far more than expected. I warm it in my hands for a few seconds, then glide it over my body The texture is smooth, not greasy, and absorbs quickly Skin feels genuinely moisturized, soft, and comfortable The experience feels very spa‑like, especially after a shower I mostly use the unscented version because my skin prefers it, but I’ve tried a few scented stones and was pleasantly surprised — the fragrance is beautiful, subtle, and didn’t irritate my skin. The travel container is adorable and functional, and I still keep mine out at home. Loved it enough that I also bought the mini travel version, which is perfect for work or travel (I really dislike hotel lotions). If you like solid or stick skincare, this is absolutely worth trying.

smelly and greasy

This was given to me as a gift. I cannot figure out why it’s popular at all. It smells terrible - kind of like rotten oatmeal mixed with grass. Plus it’s so greasy! It’s so bad, it’s going straight into the garbage.

bar goes very fast

The bar from the starter pack lasted 2 weeks with nightly use. The refill is even smaller and was 38.00. It’s a nice product but not a great product and a 90.00 a month moisturizer needs to be really great . Expensive experiment.

No fragrance at all...

Feels really nice on my dry hands but it is completely fragrance free. The box, cloth, and bar completely scent free, which isn't a bad thing, except that it is marketed otherwise to have rose, frankincense, and neroli.

Really wanted to like it.

I really was excited to try this, but found it did not soak into my skin and felt greasy in warmer temperatures. I do recommend going with the mini first to see if it works for you. I know people people that love this product, but just didn't work for me.

Wonderful cant live without it

I have been using this stone for 2 years now and it’s the only moisturizer that keeps my skin soft in the dryness in winter. I recently had a massage with the stone at a spa and it was heavenly having it the moisturizer massaged into my skin!
