Details & care

What it is: A lightweight nutritive shield formulated to rebalance and soothe the scalp while softening and protecting hair.

Who it's for: Kinky, coily and curly hair, protective styles, twist-outs and wash-and-go styles and damaged or color-treated hair.

What it does: It contains soothing blue tansy oil, which has antiseptic properties that keep your scalp fresher between washes. Formulated to gently balance the scalp, it coats, conditions and protects the hair shaft without dulling or weighing it down, and strengthens the hair follicle to reduce cuticle damage.

How to use: Apply a small amount to your scalp and hair using the dropper and your fingertips. Use daily or as needed. For protective styles, use the applicator to apply directly to your scalp.

AMAZING
This is one of the best hair/scalp oils I have ever used. I have a severely dry, flaky scalp and hair that gets dry and cripsy in the winter. This could not have come at a better time! My only complaint is the packaging. The plastic is VERY stiff and it is hard to “feel” or see and gauage how much product is coming out, because the oil is also clear. Also not a good packaging for those with hand mobility issues like arthritis or carpal tunnel.

not for fine hair
Winter is brutal on my scalp; flakes, dryness, itchiness. Desperate after having tried many products esp from briogeo with temporary relief, I tried this one . After washing hair, I only dab small amounts on problem areas, apply heat protectant and blow dry. As you can see, it left my hair greasy and have to wash after two days cuz I can't stand it. As for itch relief, it's ok. It does help with flakes and dryness a lot though. The twist nozzle is great for spot treating and with how little I use, this bottle will last a very long time. I think this is best for dry, coarse hair which mine is not. Good product but not for me.

Seems to be exactly what I needed
So far, this product appears to be curtailing the flakiness of my scalp. It leaves my scalp feeling clean, and has stopped any itching.

I had horrible flakes and my scalp was extremely dry. I tried a number of scalp remedies but this did the job. I haven’t had any flakes since I’ve tried this.

Good and Bad
It doesn’t have a pleasant fragrance but the texture it good for a scalp oil and I like the applicator tip. I recommend testing this before you buy to see if the scent of this product will bother you. I bought online without testing it first and won’t do it again.
