Daija Floral Print Midi Dress

Purchased XS for my young teen; 5'5, 107lbs, ballet build to attend a wedding. The highest point of the hem fell just below her knee, the lowest point at lower calf. The dress has a little stretch, which is helpful for getting into the dress as there are no zippers, and comfortably skims the upper body without showing any bra lines, and allows comfortable movement. The dress is body contouring, but has a subtle, flare from the hips. The side ruching was masterfully done. It's nice that there are two layers to the fabric for modesty, but breathes nicely. The only piece that's a bit awkward is the twist above the left shoulder; for which I gave the dress overall 4 stars. I would have preferred it to lay flat. Just make sure you have a cute bra strap, in case movement shows a peek. We had time before the actual event so I had her prance around the house both with and without ironing that "twist". If only I had needle skills I'd have changed that one thing. My tendency is to hand wash. Daughter accidentally threw it in the wash AND the dryer. Thankfully, the dress was not damaged and did not shrink. I suspect this dress can handle a gentle cycle wash, but will dry quickly en l'air. This dress is elegant; a nice foray for a young lady learning to dress for formal occasions. Shows off her dance figure; offers classy sensuality without being too revealing. The investment is worth the versatility it offers. We styled the dress with black sandals and a cropped open cardigan for an outdoor wedding.
