THIS IS IT!!!

In love with this backpack! So much, that I have already placed another order for the red one (Siren) to replace the red Madden Girl backpack that I own. As a woman who uses her backpack as her purse and have tried ALL different brands, THIS backpack meets all my needs! It has all these hidden compartments inside the bag where I can place several items in each along with two back/side zippers for quick access to items I grab most frequently. I'm still getting used to the material as the color I ordered (Dune) easily picked up dirt or wet spots easily, but found that I could simply wipe it off with a wet towel and it was back to its original new self. I've received plenty of compliments and several have already placed their own orders.

Cute bag, terrible functionality

This is a cute looking bag and is decently made but it sucks as a backpack. Make a list of all of the things an ideal backpack would be (besides look good) and this product would probably fail every single thing. 1. The material (neoprene/wetsuit) is awful. It creases easily and is challenging to smooth out. 2. Heavy empty. 3. The material gets very hot against your body and retains heat extremely well - it will absolutely make your back sweat *a lot*. I was carrying a laptop and my back got so hot I thought the battery was overheating; turns out the laptop was turned off but the bag locks in heat so well it felt like I was carrying a heating pad. 3. The material will soak up your sweat on the back and straps and it doesn't dry quickly. This is gross, especially since the bag is not easy to clean. 4. Holds a lot less than you would hope/expect and the pockets - both on the exterior sides and one interior side - are just a smidge too small to effectively carry a water bottle. Highly discourage purchasing - wish I could return mine :(

I love it BUT...

I love this backpack because it has so many compartments and you can pretty much use it for travel. However, it creases so easily and those creases stay permanent.

I LOVE this bag

I purchased this bag to replace a bad that I had been using for travel. My original back was a backpack that secured with the drawstring closure and a flap that secured over that. IT was an old bag that I have had for 20+ years that my dad brought home as one of the many freebies of his old job. It only had one zippered pocket and wasn't structured so it was decent for carrying snack and books and things but low on organization. I saw the Dagne Dover was recommended as a travel bag, so I decided to try it out. It is certainly an upgrade from what I have and I am so happy that I made this purchase. This is a much sturdier structured bag. I love that the lower rear part of the bag has zippered pockets on both sides that allow you to secure items like cellphones thin wallets, passports, etc. The inside of the bag is spacious and there is an area within the bag to secure a laptop, kindle, magazines etc. This is great carry on or weekend bag and I am excited to use it on my next trip!

So close to being perfect

I’ve been looking for a commuting bag for a while, and this is so close to being perfect. It looks great and appropriate for anywhere, especially the office, and it weighs nothing. I love the pockets against your body so I don’t have to worry about anyone on the subway having access to my phone or wallet. But the zippers are SO LOUD. Clanging with every step. If I keep the bag I think I’m going to have to replace the zipper handles or maybe coat them in something? Otherwise I love this! So close.

A backpack that makes sense

I love my onyx Dagne Dover Medium Dakota Neoprene Backpack and here are the reasons: - love the overall look and the material used gives it a sophisticated look  - the shape is intact even after I can fill it up with lots of stuff  - keeps you organized because it has a place for everything for storing - also love that it’s lightweight - the price point is relatively high at $175, but all worth it This is a good buy and recommends it!
