Dakota Medium Neoprene Backpack

In love with this backpack! So much, that I have already placed another order for the red one (Siren) to replace the red Madden Girl backpack that I own. As a woman who uses her backpack as her purse and have tried ALL different brands, THIS backpack meets all my needs! It has all these hidden compartments inside the bag where I can place several items in each along with two back/side zippers for quick access to items I grab most frequently. I'm still getting used to the material as the color I ordered (Dune) easily picked up dirt or wet spots easily, but found that I could simply wipe it off with a wet towel and it was back to its original new self. I've received plenty of compliments and several have already placed their own orders.

This is a cute looking bag and is decently made but it sucks as a backpack. Make a list of all of the things an ideal backpack would be (besides look good) and this product would probably fail every single thing. 1. The material (neoprene/wetsuit) is awful. It creases easily and is challenging to smooth out. 2. Heavy empty. 3. The material gets very hot against your body and retains heat extremely well - it will absolutely make your back sweat *a lot*. I was carrying a laptop and my back got so hot I thought the battery was overheating; turns out the laptop was turned off but the bag locks in heat so well it felt like I was carrying a heating pad. 3. The material will soak up your sweat on the back and straps and it doesn't dry quickly. This is gross, especially since the bag is not easy to clean. 4. Holds a lot less than you would hope/expect and the pockets - both on the exterior sides and one interior side - are just a smidge too small to effectively carry a water bottle. Highly discourage purchasing - wish I could return mine :(
