No Longer 100% Boar Bristles
I bought the D82 (the bristles were 100% boar bristles) a few years ago and was looking for a replacement. When I received my new one, I noticed that it felt rougher and "plastic-ky." After a bit of research, I found out that the new D82Ms now have nylon quills mixed in with the boar bristles.
