Portable Fireplace Scented Candle

I wanted to love this Portable Fireplace candle — the idea of having that cosy, wood-fire vibe without a real hearth is such an appealing one — but in reality it’s a bit underwhelming for me. The scent definitely leans smoky, woody, and piney, like cedar and birch mixed with ember and ash, which is interesting and accurate to its inspiration, but I found the throw to be quite subtle once it’s burning, so the “fireplace” effect doesn’t really fill a room the way I hoped. When it’s unlit the fragrance smells nicer, but once lit it almost fades into the background and doesn’t have that warm, inviting impact you might expect, especially at this price point. Nice enough as a niche scent if you like that foresty, slightly masculine profile, but not something I’d rush to replace.

This one really works for me. Some of their fragrances are a bit disappointing because they don't smell like they're supposed to... or the description is more interesting than the smell. this one does what it says on the tin however. It is wordy and smokey and I totally get the fireplace reference.

The candle has a nice and cozy warm woody scent, and burns evenly, but something about the scent when it is lit for a while gives me a headache! It's such a shame because it smells nice when it is not lit too. I also do love woody scents. The fragrance also doesn't feel that special (especially at this price point)
