Cypress Slingback Sandal (Women)

The Vionic Cypress sandal is beautiful and super comfortable right out of the box. I got the magenta with gold embellishment buttons on the side and wow they are stunning. The sandal is completely adjustable with Velcro in three places and my usual size 8M was a perfect fit. They definitely run true to size. The footbed has the excellent arch & heel support we have all grown to love from Vionic and it’s not hard as a rock. I can walk 10 miles in these very flattering and versatile sandals and coming back to order in another color.

I have been wearing Vionic sandals since this brand launched and they have been my Holy Grail. Until now. They have changed their fit and there's nothing I can do to make these work for me any more. These sandals are wider across the board. Without being able to adjust the front and middle of them, my foot would be swimming in them. (Already sent a different pair back this year for that very issue.) So thumbs up on those adjustments. Still too large but somewhat doable. I am ordering, and have been wearing, these sandals 1/2 size too small as it is. I wear an 8M shoe but am wearing 7.5M in Vionic sandals. But the backstrap in this pair only adjusts so far, and the velcro adjustment doesn't bend. I simply cannot get this backstrap tight enough to hold my foot into the sandal! On the tightest setting, my ankles lift by a lot when I try to walk in them. If they're moving that much vertically, they will move that much laterally. Which means there is a very good chance of ankle sprains. The footbed is comfortable. I could walk in them all day if I could get the dratted sandals to stay on my feet. So Vionic may have changed their last. The last Vionic pair that truly fit (still 7.5M) and stayed on was the Amber. Unfortunately those aren't leather. But I have several pairs. They never came in a tan like these do and I need that color. So on to find another brand that gives support. I hope this helps at least one of you.
