What it is: An everyday gentle cleanser that melts dirt and build-up to return hair to its natural shine and vibrancy.
Who it's for: Ideal for all hair types.
What it does: Curly hair needs gentle cleansers that don't strip away natural oils, but not all hair types like co-washing. If your hair is fine or greasy using a co-wash may actually weigh it down and make it look flat. That's when the Vivid Tones Shampoo comes in! This cleanser will look and foam like a traditional shampoo, but contains much gentler ingredients that won't dry curls out, so it is suitable for frequent washes and color safe. It is also enriched with ingredients that help remove dulling particles from the hair and make the colour more rich and vibrant.
How to use: Wet your hair thoroughly, then dispense a generous blob of product on your palms and apply directly to the scalp. Massage gently but vigorously to clear the scalp and melt down all dirt and product buildup. Rinse thoroughly until water runs clear.

A staple in my routine
I swear by this shampoo. It has been a staple in my hair routine for two years. It genuinely protects my colour from fading and keeps it vibrant and glossy - and I feel safe in the knowledge my curls are getting what they need too! It is gentle and cleansing. It will be hard work to sway me away from this product.

Disappointing
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First I’ll start by saying that I love Curlsmith products and recommend them all the time. Air dry cream is one of my holy grail products. But this shampoo and the matching conditioner damaged my hair more than helped it. The pump is so annoying, I have to use 10 to 15 pumps of shampoo and still can’t get a lather to properly reach and clean my scalp. Granted I have very thick long wavy hair. I would have tolerated the need to use so much shampoo except for the fact that I had SIGNIFICANT hair fall out both times I used this shampoo- literally a handful of hair- far more than normal shedding. (After going back to my previous shampoo I had minor shedding. ) The conditioner doesn’t provide enough slip and once dried my hair felt coarse, stringy and dry. Not vibrant at all. I was really looking forward to this splurge on nice shampoo but it was really a waste of money, I would not recommend it.

Great for Curly Girls

My scalp is sensitive as I suffer from inflammation, but when I use this product the inflammation goes away and my hair does not fall out. It’s amazing. Love the color protection
I have used all the sets from Curlsmith and I love the 'pink' the best. The Vivid Tones shampoo combined with the Gentle Conditioner is the one that doesn't cause frizz and protects my color. It also is very moisturizing.
