Cruiser Beach Wheel Kit

We love our veer cruiser and bought the beach wheels expecting excellence. Upon receipt, we unboxed, threw away the box, followed installation instructions and took it out to our beach. EXTREME disappointment. The wheels did NOT make any significant difference in pulling our beach gear. We live in Southern California where beach/sand is soft and lofty. After this ONE use, I contacted customer service right away to request a return. They sent a curt email refusing the return saying we ‘used it’ and auto attached instructions for install - which we did already. DO NOT BUY if you are expecting an actual difference in pulling in sand. Not worth the big price tag. This bad customer service experience will make us hesitant to try any VEER products in the future.

I have the city cruiser XL and purchase these beach wheels because I live in Southern California and took this wagon to the beach without the beach wheels, fully loaded with the kids and beach accessories, and it was so hard to pull through the thin and deep sand. After that, I decided to purchase the beach wheels to make it easier to pull the wagon through the sand. For the price of the wheels costing more than an entire beach wagon, I expected these wheels to glide over the sand. To my disappointment, it was just as hard to get these wheels through that deep sand as the original wheels. It was also harder to pull these wheels on the concrete from the car to the sand than the regular wheels. I really wish this worked as anticipated and I followed all the suggestions about the air pressure and the pull mode and still, it didn’t work. The sand kept getting caught under the wheels, preventing them from spinning, so it was like pulling a wagon without the wheels moving almost at all, and my husband, and I both had to work together to get the wagon through the sand with him, pulling and me pushing from behind. Thankfully,, ordering this to Nordstrom I was able to return this. I’m so glad I did not purchase this through veer as it would’ve been final sale because I used it. If you buy these wheels, make sure they’re sold by Nordstrom and keep your box because unless you have thick or rocky sand, you’ll likely need to return this.
