Great Bit Loafers, Sizing Could be Improved

These Bit Loafers have a great for a more casual outfit but the sizing is off. Depending on the shoe, I wear either an 11D or 11.5D. Knowing the site said to order down 1/2 size, I ordered the 11D. When they arrived, I tried them on and they were entirely too long. Put simply, I walked out of them and had to return them. Why can't PM size these shoes according to standard men's shoe customs? Give the manufacturer the right specs for traditional sizing. I haven't worn a 10.5D shoe since I was in middle school so it would have never occurred to me to size down that far now. Frustrating to say the least.
