Oh, dear — acetate??
I don’t know why EF has chosen to cheapen her line so drastically but this newest holiday release is the last straw for me. No matter what she says about acetate, it is highly toxic to make, is not biodegradable, and is very unpleasant to wear in all types of weather. It is a version of sleazy synthetic rayon, cheap and awful in every sense. My closet holds almost nothing but Eileen but the last couple of seasons, the line has tanked in terms of quality and style — although certainly not in price. Moving on.

The color, dye, fabric and sizing was well described and true. However the description and photo were misleading in my mind. The “blazer” was more of a PJ top, unstructured and no shoulder padding, as show pictured. It was a lovely and limp, but not a blazer the garment. It’s gorgeous, just not as promoted and described.
