Boxy, smelly & outright Gray (not blue-gray)
I purchased this at Nordstrom’s online on-sale— I’d been bemused by reviews noting a heavy perfume smell as I’d not experienced that ever with EF items. The package REEKED of a baby-powder perfume scent even prior to opening. The sweater itself seemed nicely made as per usual, however much, much wider and shorter than expected. It also is not as soft as other EF cotton cashmere items I’ve purchased- one of which I’m currently wearing. I’m not certain if the strange hand/feel and the over-powering scent are a part of the recycling process— if they are, please STOP ADDING THE SMELL IMMEDIATELY. It must be possible to clean and process items in a scent-free way that doesn’t impose on others. I will now be leery (sale to not) of any item EF offers with ‘recycled’ in the description.
