Crepe Straight Leg Pants

These pants are very beautiful…they will travel well, as they are wrinkle free! HOWEVER…the waist runs very small. I ordered a medium, based on the size chart. My measurements are; 5’7 145 lbs 39-33-39. The hips are perfect, but the waste is very uncomfortable. I tried them on a ‘non bloated’ day, as well..ha. I liked them so well, I am having the back elastic taken out and replaced with longer piece. It won’t match, but I’ll wear a blouse that covers it, or wear a belt. The pants are expensive and now, they’re going to be even more expensive. I can’t say that I would ever do this kind of costly tailoring again, but I really needed this color, material etc. ALSO, they are too long by about 1-2 inches… I plan on wearing them with flat loafers, so I am having them hemmed. If I were to wear 3-4” heels, they would be fine. Hope this helps anyone.

Although I ordered these through Nordstrom, they were apparently shipped directly from Spanx. I ordered a petite. The sown-in label said only "M" and the only place that stated that these are "petite" is the detachable tag. The inseam on these is 31". Spanx own website claims that the petite version of these pants should have an inseam of 29.5" and that the regular inseam is 31". So, either their website wildly misrepresents the measurements of their pants, or this was some kind of error. In either case, it's not worth it to me to try ordering a different pair, especially since Nordies only seems to act as a 3rd party vendor.
