Honestly, it just sits really nicely on the hair.
I’ve been using Oribe Crème for Style regularly, and I’m really impressed. I apply a small amount to damp or dry hair, and it instantly smooths frizz without weighing my hair down. It keeps my hair soft, natural, and polished — not stiff at all. The texture is lightweight, and the scent is classic Oribe. Definitely one of my go-to styling products.

Mixed feelings
The product worked well but is so heavily perfumed that I had to sleep with a towel covering my pillows. Even that did not stop the odor from permeating the pillowcase and pillow.

Great as a finishing product
I have mixed, but ultimately, positive feelings about this product. When used in damp hair before styling, I find that it’s difficult to figure out the right amount of product to use, and if you use too much, your hair ends up feeling gritty and a bit sticky. I’ve ended up using this product more as a finisher on dry hair and I think it’s actually great for that. I use a pea sized amount for each side of my hair just on the ends and it helps to get rid of frizz, give light texture and separation, and a more lived in look. It’s basically the look I’ve tried to get, but have failed to achieve, from texture sprays. And using it as a finisher, this 5oz tube will last FOREVER.

This is hair transformation in a tube!
First off, I used mousse for YEARS. All different kinds. I got a sample of this product in a goodie bag so I figured I'd try it but honestly wasn't expecting much. I immediately threw all my mousse away! This creme left my hair smooth, glossy & feeling conditioned while still delivering the hold that I want. Now I use Maximista on the roots & follow with this styling creme, & it has transformed my hair! I never had the kind of hair that people commented on, but now everybody wants to know how they can get their hair to look like mine. THAT'S how good this is!

Awesome product
For years, I had used Shuga Stay styling cream. They no longer make it, so I was having trouble finding a substitute. I have fine wavy hair. I can't use anything too heavy and don't like anything too sticky or stiff. The salon that had originally told me about Shuga recommended Oribe Creme for Style. At first, I didn't think it provided enough hold, but I realized I wasn't using enough product. When combined with the Maximista volume spray, it really does the job. I couldn't be happier. My hair is still soft and flexible but appears thicker, and the style holds well.
