Crème de la Mer Moisturizing Cream for Anti-Aging & Barrier Repair $1,625 Value

I've been using La Mer for two years and it's the best moisturizing product I've used. It really repairs your skin and make it smooth. One thing to avoid is using it every single day though as your skin may become depend on it. Drinking enough water and exercise is still the way to go. This product would only help you if you do the other things right. If you know that you will be using this product very frequently, then 8.5oz is the best one to buy from all the different sizes. I've attached the picture of this product compared to the typical nail clippers so you can see how big it is.

My husband had a lot of pre-cancer skin lesions. He had to use Efudex (F-5 flouroracil), a potent topical chemotherapy. It targets fast growing cells but does a job on all of the skin -- after two to three weeks it is raw, oozy, painful. It is just a horrible experience. Then you stop and you can use ointments to soothe the skin and start getting rid of the inflammation and start healing. Coritsone is recommended but doesn't work. Nothing works but -- this. In sheer desperation I applied some from my tiny jar. Almost within minutes I was online ordering more. There is just something about this that made it soothe and stop the pain, and boost the healing. I don't think I would pay the freight just to use this as a beauty treatment but I would use it for little bruises or injuries, or, just in case (hope not) my husband needs to use Efudex again.

Love, love, love La Mer. I have been using this miracle cream for over 10 years. I occasionally am tempted to try something new but always come back here. For my rosacea prone, dry sensitive skin nothing compares. Strangers comment on the great condition of my skin and think I'm 10 years younger. Recently splurged and bought this ginormous vat of La Mer. If you use it regularly, this is a great value. I just refill my small 1oz container so I don't contaminate the big container with repeated finger dips!

I have very sensitive skin. I am 57 years old and look a lot younger. I have a problem with fluid in my legs and a condition called chronic venous stasis. My left leg once had an ulcer and required a skin graft. In addition, I wash my hands about a hundred times per day--I don't really even have fingerprints anymore. Anyway, I have access to every prescription cream on the market, but I turned to La Mer. I had cut my bad leg and a little ulcer was developing. Of course, I used the appropriate antibiotics, but my secret weapon was starting the treatment by putting La Mer tradtional cream on the ulcerated area first. I know by trial and error that this was effective because when I ran out of La Mer it got worse, and when I used it, it got better. Of course I cannot recommend this as a pharmaceutical, but I can just relate my experience. I also had lost the skin from my hands from excessive washing and hand sanitizing (for good reasons) and La Mer also restored my hands. I am 57 years old and only have a few wrinkles--none around the eyes. Thank you, La Mer. It is expensive, but it is worth it.

I wanted to love this product because it's such a cult classic but I just couldn't! My face broke out horribly in blemishes and huge, visible pores and became patchy with dry skin & greasy patches all over alternately across my face. My makeup later in the day looked terrible as well. I am a Clarins girl for life now. Their products make my skin look and feel so lovely, toned, and even. No redness, dry patches, or breakouts as the La Mer gave me. Thumbs down :-(

I began using this awesome product on my 40th birthday. 15 years later, I would rather purchase Crème de la Mer Moisturizing Cream than eat! Be sure to warm between your hands and apply. Be prepared for a moment of "ahhhh" Seriously this Crème de la Mer Moisturizing Cream is amazing and so worth every penny. I use it all over my face, eyes, neck to décolleté and then anything left on my palms I rub into the tops of my hands. I have my 21 yr old using it now...MUST HAVE!
