big and boxy, not as shown
I bought both colors of this top, the stone pearl and navy pearl in my regular size medium. The top feels incredibly soft and comfy. But it’s nothing I’d wear. The stripes run the wrong way when you have a top that’s big, very bulky despite how light it feels and boxy, I don’t mind boxy or an oversized top. But this top misses all the marks on fashion. If I was paying for a top I’d wear only at home sure, but not at this price. This top made me look huge and it’s extremely uncomplimentary. Downsizing won’t help, it’s the way it’s made,It looks frumpy, lumpy and bumpy with the way it’s sewn and the way the fabric is knitted together. I was so excited to receive both tops when I ordered them and was so disappointed when they arrived. I hope BFD’s starts considering the many women out there such as myself who no longer wear crop tops or short sleeves that are so short they look sleeveless. The winter clothes are dreamy. I’m not any different than most women my age and I’m still in shape but please consider making tops that don’t max out above the belly button in length and short sleeves that go closer to the elbows. There’s a big market for this and I’ll be the first in line for some pretty and age appropriate spring and summer tops. Unfortunately this top isn’t appealing for any age, it’s soft, yes, stylish, not at all for any age. And I’m a huge fan of BFD’s and own a ton of their clothing.

Bought the black
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Even the plain black has texture/wave pattern. I normally wear XS but bought the small. Fits close so could have gotten the M and I think that would work as well

Really nice
This top is perfect! So soft and comfy. The color is great and fits just right. This is a really cute top and I also purchased the coordinating bottoms which are also perfect.
