Cozy Scuba Knit Crew Sweatshirt

I like this sweatshirt because of the style upgrade on the sleeves. Am not sure if the term for the fabric gathering on the sleeves is called ruching but this design is unusual and fun to wear. The fabric is scuba-like. It is soft, lightweight but also warm. Perfect for the marine environment of the Olympic Peninsula, WA. I wash on gentle cycle, cold water and dry on rack. No Fading or fuzzing. I am 5'2', 108# and purchased an extra small.

I initially loved this sweatshirt and bought it mainly because of the fabric. The scuba knit felt smooth, structured, and elevated right out of the package. It looked polished and had a really nice weight to it. Unfortunately, after the first wash it started pilling and developed noticeable fuzzing across the front. Just one wash and it feel short! There are lint-like pills throughout, and it no longer has that clean, smooth finish that made me love it in the first place. I followed the care instructions, nothing special there… so I did not expect it to show wear this quickly. For the price point, I was hoping for much better durability. I am so disappointed, the quality did not hold up after washing.
